Nephrology Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Nephrology Specialist to join our team at IHC Health Services, Inc. As a Nephrology Specialist, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

About this role:

As a Nephrology Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering general nephrology care in outpatient clinic, hospital, dialysis, and telehealth settings. You will collaborate with our team of nephrologists, advanced practice providers, and nurse navigators to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

  • Primary sites include Intermountain McKay Dee and Logan regional hospitals.
  • Employment is with the Intermountain Medical Group and will be based in Ogden, Utah.
  • You will have the opportunity to contribute to a patient-centered, value-based care delivery model and possess exceptional interpersonal skills to foster a culture of teamwork and multi-disciplinary collaboration.
  • Medical director and/or other clinical leadership experience is desirable.
  • Teaching/learning mindset and home dialysis interest is a plus.
  • Participation in weekly interdisciplinary care meetings and educational conferences is supported.
  • This position includes a $30,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 in relocation assistance, stipend, and $75,000 in student loan repayment when applicable.

What you'll bring:

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
  • US ACGME accredited residency.
  • ABMS board certification or eligibility in Nephrology.
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
  • BLS certification and DEA.
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process.
  • Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis.
