About the Role

Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician Trainee to join our team in Olympia, Washington.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment and develop your skills in maintenance and repair of production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, adjust, repair, overhaul, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality.
  • Conduct quality adjustment checks and evaluate equipment performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Disassemble, replace, reassemble, inspect, and maintain assigned machinery and equipment as required.
  • Measure and record can dimensions against specifications and maintain production, quality, and other related records.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs and maintenance on production equipment.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and comply with all OSHA and WISHA safety rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency.
  • Mechanical experience working in a manufacturing setting or familiarity with power and hand tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and with teams, and possess good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, evenings, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
