KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
Enhance, sustain, and refine processes and systems to guarantee adherence to both customer and internal quality benchmarks, while identifying and aiding in the resolution of both systematic and incidental quality issues.
2.Design and execute systems and procedures to uphold quality standards during the initiation of new products, working collaboratively with suppliers and customers throughout all phases of product launch.
3.Engage with suppliers and/or customers to establish, implement, and elevate quality standards and practices.
4.Work with suppliers and/or customers to develop a comprehensive and systematic understanding of quality standards and expectations concerning materials, components, and produced goods.
5.Convert customer requirements and expectations into actionable and quantifiable terms.
6.Collaborate with internal and external customers, engineers, and suppliers to investigate and analyze complex quality challenges, validate countermeasures, and ensure timely follow-up on issue resolution processes.
7.Utilize solid knowledge of problem-solving techniques and root cause analysis to address moderately complex issues.
8.Be well-versed in various problem-solving and quality tools, serving as the primary contact for all customers.
9.Oversee the investigation of customer claims to identify and resolve both systematic and incidental quality issues concerning internal production processes and supplier contributions.
10.Formulate and implement enhanced sampling and testing protocols for both supplier inputs and finished products.
11.Develop, seek customer approval for, and monitor the execution of technically sound and cost-effective modifications in processes, systems, and procedures to address quality issues and/or enhance compliance with quality standards.
12.Participate in the design, development, modification, and maintenance of systems for information collection, storage, retrieval, and analysis.
13.Collaborate with production team leaders, associates, technicians, and other engineers to devise and implement modifications to work areas, processes, specifications, and testing procedures that enhance compliance with quality standards.
14.Gather, compile, analyze, and assess quality data, including claims and testing results, and prepare standard and specialized reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
15.Provide technical guidance and support to suppliers and other engineers and technicians in identifying and resolving quality challenges while meeting customer expectations.
16.Deliver training on quality principles and the application of quality tools.
17.Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
