Job Title: Quality Technician

Technique, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of high-quality parts and assemblies. We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Quality Technician will be responsible for inspecting and testing parts and assemblies to ensure they meet customer specifications and industry standards. This includes using various inspection tools and equipment, such as CMMs and Romer arms, to verify dimensions and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test parts and assemblies to ensure they meet customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Use various inspection tools and equipment, such as CMMs and Romer arms, to verify dimensions and quality.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand product specifications.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in production.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Vocational training in a related field (STEM Program, Career Center, or Technical Trades Training).
  • At least 1 year of experience reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Experience with database management and data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in solid manufacturing with SolidWorks.
  • 1-2 years of experience operating a Romer arm.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to manufacturing processes that include and are not limited to; fumes or airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, moving mechanical parts, industrial equipment, and vibration.
