Clinical Laboratory Assistant

Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Phlebotomy/Specimen Processing Supervisor, this role performs a variety of routine processing for all specimens submitted for clinical analysis by receipt and processing of samples to technical areas for testing.
Responsibilities
- Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
- Perform routine laboratory tasks under general supervision
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of specimens
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
Requirements
- High School diploma required
- Previous laboratory and computer experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Work Environment
