Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions.
  • Monitor key financial and operating metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and continually improve budgets, financial projections, and commercial forecasts to support strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to develop monthly and quarterly financial reports for various commercial segments within North America Flat-rolled business.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools to create dashboard reports and provide insights to management.
  • Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and analyze trends, review past performance, and anticipate obstacles to forecast future results.
  • Support the management team and department leaders with data-driven analysis and provide a clear picture of future performance through annual budgets.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in strategically oriented and relevant roles in financial planning & analysis, public accounting, or corporate finance.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial planning software).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to succinctly summarize thoughtful insights.
  • Financial management experience with planning, forecasting, and business analysis.
  • Strong organizational capabilities and self-starter attitude.
  • Attention to detail and ability to translate to broader strategy.
  • Process and goal-oriented while comfortable with complexity and ambiguity.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, be a good cultural fit, and demonstrate a high energy level, decisiveness, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related analytical discipline.
