The role involves:

  • Drafting and reviewing proposals while supporting business development initiatives, including participation in meetings and industry events.
  • Negotiating contracts with public and private clients, defining project scope, budget, and timelines.

  • Building and nurturing client relationships through consistent engagement with municipal staff and officials.

Qualifications:
What you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the municipal sector, particularly within the Iowa or Illinois markets.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required, with preference for Wisconsin licensure.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
  • Comprehensive understanding of permitting and regulatory frameworks in Iowa and/or Illinois.
  • Familiarity with various funding sources utilized by municipal clients is advantageous.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is necessary; sponsorship is not available for this position.
