Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide, coach, and mentor less experienced educators in your classroom; exemplify behaviors and provide constructive feedback. Lesson planning experience is essential.
  • Oversee overall classroom management, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Act as a role model, utilizing a growth mindset to cultivate young minds and ignite a love for learning.
  • Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, engaging with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a manner that aligns with the unique needs of each child.
  • Establish a secure, nurturing atmosphere where children can engage in play and learning.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents, sharing updates on their children's latest experiences and accomplishments through various channels, including mobile applications and personal discussions.
  • Contribute to your center's success by collaborating with center staff and leadership to meet goals related to enrollment and engagement.
  • Foster relationships with families and colleagues, creating a vibrant environment where play and learning seamlessly coexist.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of professional teaching experience preferred; a minimum of 18 months of professional teaching experience is required.
  • Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Proven knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Must comply with state-specific guidelines for the role; Level II credentials or higher are required.
  • Pass State BIU/TRAILS background checks.

Compensation: $21.00 per hour

Each character possesses a unique personality and area of interest, bringing learning to life by enabling children to explore the world through fun and imagination.
