Job Summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a highly skilled Armed Security Officer with a Secret Clearance to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding personnel, property, and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols within and around the facility to ensure the protection of people, assets, and classified information.
  • Greet guests and employees, and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
  • Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances to client and/or other security personnel.
  • Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms, and act as a first responder in emergency situations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience in security or a related field.
  • Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Must possess one or more of the following: minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site, prior military experience, or minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state).
