Job Summary

Allied Universal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Cleared Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for protecting classified information and personnel, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and sensitive information
  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure the protection of people, assets, and classified information
  • Preserve order and enforce rules, regulations, and directives for the site's viability
  • Greet guests and employees, assisting where necessary; escort visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, and safeguard classified information
  • Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and verbal communication
  • Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary

Requirements:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
  • Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) position-appropriate level security clearance
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience
  • Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)
  • Must be a United States Citizen in order to obtain the required government clearance
  • Must be able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
