The Residential Property Assessment Specialist conducts thorough evaluations of residential properties to uncover any potential concerns or risks. This role entails a comprehensive examination of the property's physical state, which includes the mechanical systems, utility services, foundation, roofing, and overall structural integrity.

Upon completion of inspections, the Residential Property Assessment Specialist will meticulously document their observations and offer suggestions for enhancements, ensuring follow-up on these recommendations.

Additionally, this position emphasizes the importance of delivering outstanding customer service, fostering trust with clients, and maintaining a reliable relationship.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed internal and external evaluations of residential properties to identify issues or potential risks.
  • Document findings and create comprehensive reports for clients and internal records.
  • Provide actionable recommendations for repairs or improvements to the property.
  • Coordinate work orders as necessary and ensure their completion through diligent follow-up.
  • Engage with clients to clarify inspection results and address any inquiries.
  • Participate in emergency phone duty on a rotating schedule for one week at a time.
  • Conduct all inspections safely and professionally, ensuring a high standard of service.

Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • Previous experience in residential property assessment is preferred.
  • A CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) check is mandatory.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail with a keen ability to identify potential issues or hazards.
  • Availability for storm-related inspections as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, computers, and smartphones, with a willingness to learn new software as necessary.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 80 pounds.
  • Physically capable of performing various tasks, including standing, climbing, lifting, walking, reaching, and crawling.
  • Ability to transport and set up extension ladders for roofing evaluations.
  • Working conditions may vary depending on weather, which can be severe.
