Security Specialist

Responsibilities
As a Uniformed Security Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
1. Performing security patrols and services on a 24/7 basis to maintain order and protect site personnel, client property, premises, and equipment.
2. Monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry as necessary.
3. Reporting writing and site patrol duties, including lost and found duties and other back security duties as required.
4. Immediately reporting all security and health and safety threats identified during patrols.
5. Ensuring a detailed knowledge and understanding of all summary Post Orders and Site Operating Procedures.
6. Compliance with all relevant company policies and procedures.
7. Providing support and coverage for access control badges and individual authorized access in accordance with policy.
8. Assisting with daily MOP's and coordinating with supervised escorts.
9. Insuring visitor, employee, contractor, and vendor access compliance.
10. Access control duties, including static and standing post as directed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. Excellent communication skills, with a courteous and professional manner.
2. Exceptional reception and customer service skills.
3. Excellent observational skills and experience communicating via two-way radio.
4. A clean driving history with no 'at fault' accidents within the last five years.
5. Strong multi-tasking abilities.
Education Requirements
A High School Diploma or GED is required for this role.
