Overview

Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in greater Houston and southeast Texas, is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Data Strategist - Quality Improvement Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our clinical analytics team, you will play a critical role in driving quality improvement initiatives and supporting data-driven decision making across the organization.

Responsibilities

As a Clinical Data Strategist - Quality Improvement Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven strategies to improve quality outcomes across our healthcare system. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with quality and clinical teams to identify opportunities for quality improvement and developing data-driven solutions to address these gaps.
  • Designing and implementing data visualizations and analytics to support quality improvement initiatives and inform data-driven decision making.
  • Providing analytical support to quality and clinical teams to help them make data-driven decisions and drive quality improvement efforts.
  • Developing and maintaining complex databases and data systems to support quality improvement initiatives and data-driven decision making.
  • Conducting advanced data analysis and statistical modeling to identify trends and patterns in quality data and inform quality improvement efforts.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in analytics, statistics, and data modeling, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting, with a focus on quality improvement and analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with a strong background in healthcare analytics, quality improvement, and data visualization. Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and health information exchange (HIE) systems is also highly desirable.

Salary

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $90,000 and $120,000 per year, based on a national average of salaries for similar positions in the United States.
