About the Role

This position works closely with the branch manager to achieve branch- and Bank-established goals. The assistant branch manager manages a team responsible for exceptional customer service, operational soundness, and generating revenue for the branch and Bank.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as backup to the personal banking team to open new accounts, receive loan requests, and gather credit-related information.
  • Ensure the branch is operationally sound.
  • Train and mentor branch team members to deepen customer relationships.
  • Monitor sales and service goals.
  • Process and oversee technical tasks such as opening and closing the branch, overdraft monitoring, wire transfers, and collections.
  • Resolve conflicts with minimal assistance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two years of retail banking experience or equivalent transferrable skills and experience.
  • Some management experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and banking software.
  • Training and mentoring skills.
  • Customer-focused service and sales skills.
  • Understanding of consumer and small business lending.
  • Overall knowledge of bank operations.
Workstyle and Benefits

This role is fully onsite. We offer a competitive total rewards package, including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $21.00 to $26.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent on various non-discriminatory factors.
