Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our R&D team, responsible for merging research and development with the rich universe of League of Legends.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to create immersive player experiences.
  • Deliver groundbreaking game experiences aligned with our milestone-driven approach.
  • Develop and refine game systems and engine features using C++, leveraging our content tools and game scripting.
  • Provide critical input on the technical feasibility of design ideas, balancing creativity with practicality.
  • Contribute to the technical vision and standards of the team, ensuring excellence in every line of code.
  • Mentor fellow engineers, fostering a collaborative environment where knowledge and skills are shared.
Requirements
  • You have 6+ years of professional experience in game development.
  • You have extensive experience translating game design and art into technical designs and decisions in a rapid high-agency RnD project, always with an eye on the ultimate goal - player delight.
  • Collaborating with game content creators, especially game designers, is second nature to you, ensuring the delivery of cohesive and engaging game elements.
  • Your experience with C++ is demonstrated in complex and large-scale projects.
  • Your knowledge and understanding of gameplay systems is a real strength.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience, underpins your technical expertise.
Benefits and Compensation

Base salary range between $183,300.00 - $256,600.00 USD + incentive compensation + equity + 401K with company match + medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + short and long-term disability + open PTO.
