Senior Sonographer II Fetal Therapy Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sonographer II Fetal Therapy to join our team at Johns Hopkins Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound and intervention procedures, including high-risk OB diagnostic ultrasound scans and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound and intervention procedures, including high-risk OB diagnostic ultrasound scans and interventional procedures.
  • Assist in the training and supervising of ultrasound Sonographers.
  • Participate in clinical research studies and orient and educate medical staff in theory and applications of sonographic technology.
  • Generate patient reports, maintain sonographic equipment, and maintain the clinical environment.
  • Train other sonographers and record maintenance logs for equipment.
  • Document patient information accurately and ensure patient privacy, safety, and comfort.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of an approved curriculum in diagnostic ultrasound.
  • Current and active registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) in obstetrics and fetal echocardiography.
  • At least four (4) years of clinical experience in diagnostic obstetrical ultrasound.
