About the Role:
The Senior Sonographer II - Fetal Therapy Specialist will perform a more extensive range of diagnostic ultrasound and intervention procedures, assisting in the training and supervising of ultrasound Sonographers, in clinical research studies and orienting and educating medical staff in theory and applications of sonographic technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-risk OB diagnostic ultrasound scans and interventional procedures
- Generate patient reports, maintain sonographic equipment, and maintain the clinical environment
- Train other sonographers and record maintenance logs for equipment
- Document patient information accurately, ensuring patient privacy, safety, and comfort
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent
- Successful completion of an approved curriculum in diagnostic ultrasound
- Current and active registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) in obstetrics and fetal echocardiography
- At least four (4) years of clinical experience in diagnostic obstetrical ultrasound
