Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Manager to join our team at Peraton. As a key member of our IT operations team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems, and providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network and Security Infrastructure Operations
    • Manage and maintain all network and security devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
    • Perform environmental monitoring of LAN closets and data centers to ensure optimal performance.
    • Proactively evaluate and recommend configurations to enhance performance.
    • Perform system upgrades without impacting end users.
    • Maintain and provide audit information, including access logs and application logs.
    • Ensure network administration activities are coordinated through defined change management processes.
  • Security Operations
    • Operate and validate intrusion detection system (IDS) alerts against network traffic.
    • Recommend computing environment vulnerability correction suggestions.
    • Execute strategy for containment and recovery from security incidents.
    • Support the development of a DevSecOps paradigm for program operational efforts.
    • Restore and recover from security incidents, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementations.
  • ICAM
    • Operate and support the ICAM infrastructure, including Identity Management and Authentication Services.
  • Unified Communication & Collaboration
    • Manage and maintain Audio Visual/Video Teleconferencing (AV/VTC) capabilities.
    • Provide administrative support for Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solutions.
  • Device Management
    • Manage and maintain furnished Laptop/Mobile devices.
  • Performance Management
    • Manage enterprise network for optimal performance.
    • Gather and report on performance metrics, including availability, response time, and bandwidth utilization.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in network operations and security.
  • Bachelor of Science degree and ITIL certification preferred.
