Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Support Specialist to join our team at SK Food Group. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining the information technology infrastructure, including internal networks, workstations, peripherals, and servers. Your primary focus will be on providing top-notch support to our local operations team, ensuring seamless IT operations and minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Network Support: Train, troubleshoot, and provide user support for our Windows network, which includes approximately 250+ workstations, peripherals, and mobile devices.
  • User Training and Assistance: Provide comprehensive training and assistance to users on all supported applications.
  • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: Aid in the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans, maintain current knowledge of plan executables, and respond to crises in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • User Rights Management: Add, delete, or modify user rights as needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain documentation of all IT-related processes and procedures.
  • VOIP Phone System Support: Assist in maintaining our company's VOIP phone system.
  • PC Performance Monitoring: Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring PC performance.
  • Long-term Strategies and Capacity Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future computer hardware needs.
  • Hardware and Equipment Contracts: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hardware and equipment contracts and supervise contract-based installations.
  • On-site Analysis and Resolution: Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex PC problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective hardware solutions, including off-site repair as needed.
  • Trouble Ticket Management: Work with our Managed Services company to ensure all trouble tickets are handled in a timely manner and follow the approved technical workflow.
  • Mobile Device Management: Maintain our cell phone and other mobile device program.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certifications: Certification in Microsoft products is preferred.
  • Skills: Must be proficient with printer drivers in both 32- and 64-bit versions, familiar with latest versions of Exchange, VM Ware, and SAN Technology, and have knowledge of current MS SQL Server versions.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent time management and task prioritization abilities, proven problem-solving skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated learner, ability to quickly become an expert, aptitude for technology, solid logic, writing, and language skills, and be detailed and organized.
