A new and great opportunity for a Patient Access Representative has opened up at a Critical Access facility in Southeastern New Mexico. This is a 50+ bed acute-care hospital with state-of-the-art technology and an amazing team of 400+ healthcare professionals to work with. Not to mention, they are a not for profit facility that has been serving the community for ages. They offer a broad range of medical services from cardiac services, to orthopedic surgeries.

The Patient Access Representative is responsible for managing patient interactions at the point of entry into the healthcare facility. This includes scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and ensuring that patient information is accurately entered into the system. The role requires a strong focus on customer service, communication skills, and knowledge of healthcare policies and procedures.

This is a fast paced environment with frequent patient interactions. The Patient Access Representative may also require working in various shifts depending on the facility hours.
