Position Overview: We are currently looking for a Procurement Analyst to enhance our team. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in procurement or buying, along with experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP).

Key Qualifications: Candidates with certifications such as CPM, CPIM, or CPSM will be viewed favorably.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Uphold company policies while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Make informed decisions within the Purchasing Department aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Conduct research to identify and source new products, collaborating with project management teams.
  • Provide cost accounting insights on new items and manage pricing changes.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on various criteria including price, quality, and reliability.
  • Negotiate pricing with new suppliers and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and address any quality issues with relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in departmental projects and collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals.
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with obligations.
  • Analyze pricing proposals and financial reports to establish reasonable pricing.
