Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to oversee a diverse range of significant commercial real estate and infrastructure projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality of service and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive cost estimates and planning, culminating in the presentation of the final cost plan.
- Conduct estimates at various stages, including conceptual, programming, and detailed levels.
- Assist in feasibility studies and the preparation of procurement documentation.
- Manage all procurement processes, including pre-qualification, bid analysis, and contract documentation.
- Engage in post-contract cost management, addressing variances and overseeing change control processes.
- Ensure timely and precise cost checking and valuation on larger projects.
- Produce and present monthly post-contract cost reports to clients.
- Contribute to value engineering efforts and negotiate final accounts.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and consultants throughout all project phases.
- Lead the cost management team as necessary, ensuring accountability and delivery of objectives.
- Identify and report on business development opportunities with existing clients.

Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in cost management, including pre-contract, post-contract, and final account processes.
- Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and related software.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction procurement methods.
- Experience in advising clients on value management and lifecycle costing.

Education and Experience:
- Proven experience in preparing mechanical cost estimates for complex construction projects.
- Familiarity with managing mechanical or MEP estimates for large-scale projects is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems as they relate to construction.
