As an MRI Imaging Specialist at RAYUS Radiology, you will operate a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner to produce high-quality images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes.

Providing exceptional patient care, you will take a patient-centered approach, offering leadership and technical support to MRI services, ensuring that services are delivered within professional standards and with excellent customer service.

You will guide patients through the imaging process, kindly explaining exam procedures and answering their questions and concerns.

Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field, you will remain self-motivated to increase your knowledge of MRI technology, disease, and new procedures.

This part-time role involves working every other Friday 12:30 PM-10:30 PM and every other Saturday and Sunday 2:30 PM-10:30 PM, with a shift differential and a $2,500 Sign-On Bonus offered for this position.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Creating a positive experience for every customer, every day by believing in and practicing The Experience
  • Performing routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury
  • Screening patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination
  • Preparing patients for MRI procedures, explaining the procedure and positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned
  • Maintaining accurate patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
  • Maintaining an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers
  • Maintaining ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements

This role also involves department support, including maintaining equipment in good working order, cleaning and disinfecting equipment after each use, and assisting with training of new associates.
