Join the City of College Place Police Department as a Police Officer and contribute to maintaining a safe and secure community. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing laws, protecting life and property, and providing exceptional service to the public.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect crime, and to enforce laws and regulations.
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance to the public.
  • Investigate crimes and gather evidence to solve cases.
  • Testify in court and provide expert testimony.
  • Participate in community policing initiatives and build relationships with the public.
Requirements:
  • Must be a high school graduate or have obtained a general education diploma.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must complete the State of Washington Basic Law Enforcement Academy through the Criminal Justice Training Commission and serve one-year probationary period before receiving permanent status as a police officer.
  • Must possess a valid un-restricted Washington Driver's license.
