Job Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous Accountant / Bookkeeper to enhance our finance team. This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy of financial documentation and supporting daily accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Record Maintenance: Ensure all financial records are precise and current, including managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Bank Statement Reconciliation: Regularly verify bank statements to confirm all transactions are accurately recorded and address any discrepancies swiftly.
  • Management of Accounts Payable: Process incoming invoices, validate their correctness, and guarantee timely payments to suppliers while overseeing cash flow.
  • Management of Accounts Receivable: Create invoices for clients, monitor outstanding payments, and follow up on overdue accounts to sustain healthy cash flow.
  • Payroll Management: Accurately handle payroll processing, including tax withholdings and deductions, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate regular financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for management review.
  • Inventory Management: Keep precise records of inventory levels, conduct periodic inventory assessments, and resolve any discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping or a comparable role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (such as ERP or SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Strong grasp of financial principles and regulations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with accounting practices in the manufacturing sector is advantageous.
