Job Overview

Edgesource Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Policy & Strategy Analyst to join our team in support of a critical mission set. This role requires a strong background in systems engineering, technical analysis, and operations research, with a focus on developing strategic evaluation reports and conducting data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement systems engineering and technical analysis methodologies to support major issues studies and strategic evaluation reports.
  • Conduct data collection and analysis, including reviewing and synthesizing large datasets to inform study recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Intelligence Community stakeholders to gather study proposals, evaluate suitability, and develop study design plans.
  • Design and implement data gathering and analysis plans, including literature reviews, survey design, and database queries.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to answer study key questions and objectives, using operations research approaches and statistical methods.
  • Develop well-supported alternatives for decision makers and create long-form narrative analysis reports and executive-level summary presentations.
  • Conduct foundational studies, program evaluations, and create issue summations for senior leaders.
Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 8+ years of related work experience.
  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis skills, including survey development and statistical analysis.
  • Experience with data collection and normalization.
  • Use of statistical methods for cost effectiveness analysis, financial analysis, risk analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Senior executive-ready writing skills and ability to author complex spreadsheets and databases.
  • Intelligence Community experience, with a strong understanding of IC agencies and organizations.
  • Ability to plan and build visualizations of quantitative and qualitative report elements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master's degree or advanced education in a relevant field.
  • Visual Basic or other scripting knowledge.
  • Experience with Tableau, Microsoft Publisher, and Project software.
  • Experience with JIRA.
  • Business Process Reengineering/Mapping skills.
