Our team helps NASA evaluate proposals and review programs for investigations intended to answer the big questions of Earth Science, Heliophysics, Planetary Science, and Astrophysics./ppThe EASSS3 contract provides support for proposal evaluations, assessments, and studies of programs and missions for NASA's Science Office for Mission Assessments (SOMA) at the Agency's Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. Our program supports NASA's Science Mission Directorate in evaluating new and innovative approaches for missions intended to help answer the big questions in Earth and Space science./ppAs a CTS Part-Time Employee or Consultant, you will participate as a Subject Matter Expert on review teams conducting in-depth technical, management, and cost assessments of proposals and Phase A concept studies./ppOur work is performed remotely, and an ideal candidate is willing and able to work part-time on an as-needed basis to support the tasks and has significant direct, hands-on technical or management responsibility in one or more of the following areas:/pulliSpectrum Management/liliFlight Systems/liliMission Schedulers and Cost Analysts/liliMission Design and Operations, including Trajectory Analysis and Ground Systems/liliDesign, Development, and Operation of Spacecraft and Spacecraft Subsystems/liliSpace-Based Instruments, including Passive Remote Sensors in all Wavelengths, Active Sensors and Systems, and In-Situ Instruments for Particles and Fields or Direct Material Sampling/liliSystems Engineering for either Spacecraft or Instruments/liliSpace Communications and Ground Systems Development and Operations/liliNASA Mission Leadership/li/ulpApplicants must be a US citizen and have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a STEM or related discipline to their expertise./ppWe will work with you to determine your eligibility and identifying Conflicts of Interest.
