Job Summary

The Unit Coordinator is a vital member of the healthcare team at Trinity Health Of New England, responsible for coordinating patient flow and providing clinical support to the unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient flow on the unit to ensure efficient and effective care delivery
  • Process patient orders and prepare charts for review
  • Prepare and disassemble patient charts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Prepare forms and documents required for patient care, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy
  • Communicate unit-related and patient-related needs to other departments and healthcare team members
  • Request and obtain supplies and equipment as needed
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; business school or associate degree in business preferred
  • Certification: Certification as a Healthcare Unit Coordinator (HUC) preferred
  • Ability to pass drug screening and background checks
