Company Overview

Position Overview

Timmons Group is currently seeking a Civil Project Engineer II/III - Private Land Development to be part of our Private Land Development Group.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Utilizing relevant software and Civil 3D technology to design various components of projects.
  • Applying engineering principles and computational tools to perform calculations and resolve engineering challenges.
  • Researching and preparing specifications for materials, ensuring proper installation, inspection, and payment processes are followed.
  • Finalizing design details and compiling comprehensive plan sets.
  • Conducting research and drafting objective summary reports that contribute to project completion and inspections.
  • Assisting in the formulation of engineering and construction cost estimates.
  • Carrying out field observations, inspections, and data collection as directed by senior engineering personnel.
  • Engaging with client representatives and collaborating with internal design teams as instructed by senior engineering staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications include but are not limited to:
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Preferred candidates will possess two to ten years of experience in Land Development civil engineering, including residential and commercial design.
  • EIT certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
