Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Manager to join our team at TORP Group. As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our property, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional customer service and that our community runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations
  • Oversee all new leases and renewals, ensuring compliance with Section 8 regulations
  • Assist residents with questions and complaints, providing timely and effective resolutions
  • Develop and implement resident activities and events to enhance community engagement
  • Oversee marketing outreach and advertising to attract new residents
  • Prepare and distribute 60-, 90-, and 120-day Recertification notices
  • Perform unit inspections to ensure property condition reports are accurate
  • Handle late notices and evictions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
  • Follow up on recertifications to ensure timely completion
  • Interview residents to gather information and resolve issues
  • Handle legal filings and documentation
  • Oversee maintenance staff, including work orders, move-ins/outs, and turnovers
  • Develop and maintain the annual budget, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in property management
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and experience with MRI software
  • Section 8 Project-Based experience, with knowledge of regulations and compliance
