Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet members and guests, provide exceptional customer service, and make members feel comfortable and welcome.
  • Front Desk Activities: Answer phones in a friendly manner, assist callers with various questions, check members in, tour and sign up new members, log amenities, and communicate updates and events to members and guests.
  • Member Accounts: Utilize the POS system to assist with new membership cards, change of address, and billing or payment questions, check members into fitness classes daily using Datatrak systems, and create new memberships and guest accounts for members.
  • Club Cleanliness and Maintenance: Keep the front desk area and lobby clean and orderly, execute regular facility cleaning and upkeep, clean all exercise equipment and tanning beds, and complete daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities.
  • Miscellaneous: Track Key Performance Indicators, assist with inventory counts, uphold the positive, energetic, upbeat culture of Planet Fitness, and be a brand ambassador by leading a judgement-free lifestyle.
Requirements
  • Positive Friendly Attitude: A positive, friendly attitude is essential for this role.
  • Basic Computer Proficiency: Basic computer proficiency with an eye for accuracy is required.
  • Punctuality and Reliability: Punctuality and reliability are must-haves for this position.
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, are required.
  • Physical Demands: Visible continuous activity during shift, continual talking in person or on the phone to members during shift, and frequent cleaning of equipment and facilities are required.
