Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Northwell Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with attending physicians, residents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Perform a range of clinical procedures, including taking patient histories, performing physical examinations, and interpreting laboratory results.
  • Initiate and document patient care plans, ensuring timely and effective communication with patients and their families.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program.
  • Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of New York.
  • Current NCCPA Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.
  • Current BLS certification.
