Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Chemical Production Operator to join our team at DuBois Chemicals. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in securing raw materials in a safe environment and creating and packaging products of various kinds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a sit-down forklift to select products for outbound orders and receive product for inbound orders.
  • Load and unload trucks, perform preventative maintenance, and participate in general upkeep of production equipment.
  • Maintain daily logs and record plant operating data, effectively communicating with other employees, supervisors, and customers.
  • Collect raw materials, package chemicals in pails, drums, and totes, and ensure supplies are distributed as required throughout the facility.
  • Neatly store supplies and empty containers, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience working in a chemical plant or manufacturing and/or distribution facility.
  • 2+ years of experience operating a forklift and passing the forklift driving exam.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and efficiently with colleagues, with effective communication skills and time management.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds of product.
