Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of current and future needs of stakeholders for their digital products.
  • Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to create a product roadmap and lead the product vision.
  • Capture, summarize, and organize stakeholder needs and goals in clear and concise themes, epics, and user stories in a product backlog.
  • Identify and map out project dependencies to inform the necessary sequence of development.
  • Participate in scrum team meetings to ensure delivery of product enhancements.
  • Act as liaison and primary communicator between stakeholders and development team members.
  • Manage third-party and vendor relationships and accountability on deliverables.
  • Resolve conflicts and problem-solve within the team, vendors, and collaborating areas.
  • Drive product development by conducting market research and understanding consumer behavior.
  • Build, test, and maintain Bethpage digital acquisitions and banking platforms.
  • Implement strategies and tools to mitigate fraud and ensure compliance with Customer Identification Programs.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Digital Product Owner role in a Financial Institution.
  • Demonstrated experience with online payments, digital wallets, and real-time payments.
  • Experience working with fraud systems, such as Verafin and Biocatch.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Analytics, and analytics engines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or better.
  • AM-Scrum Master or AM-Product Owner certification.
  • Active listening, detail-oriented, and decision-making skills.
  • Thought-provoking and goal completion motivations.
