Key Responsibilities:
- Support Health, Environment, and Safety initiatives by adhering to regulations and policies while performing daily tasks.
- Collaborate with local Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and mentors to enhance training and develop skills.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned to contribute to team objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Candidates should have completed or be nearing completion of an Associate of Science or Certificate program from an accredited Process Technology Program.
- A valid Driver's License is required.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- Proof of Process Technology program completion status must be provided in the application.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a willingness to learn new software.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as per the assigned schedule.
- Ability to pass a series of pre-employment screenings, including drug and alcohol testing, background checks, and physical examinations.
- Successful completion of an online pre-employment assessment is necessary.
- Graduates from recognized Process Technology Programs are encouraged to apply.
- Strong academic performance along with effective communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with safety, environmental, and process-related reliability efforts is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Inside and/or Outside Machinist & Operator competencies is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of colleagues and stakeholders.
The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $27. Chevron offers a competitive compensation package along with benefits that include health care coverage, retirement plans, and training opportunities.
