Job Summary

Mitsubishi Chemical Carbon Fiber and Composites, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician Level 2 to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planned breakdown maintenance as requested by maintenance or production supervisors.
  • Complete accurate logs of all work carried out with detailed descriptions of the problem and corrective action taken.
  • Attend all required internal and external technical training classes.
  • Work in a safe manner with particular attention to the correct use of PPE & LOTO procedures, confined space restrictions, and hot work requirements.
  • Satisfactorily complete all training required by OSHA, DOT, County hazardous waste department, and the local fire department.
  • Provide training to new employees and skill block personnel as required by management.
  • Follow the personal conduct code as written in the employee handbook.
  • During plant shutdowns, employees may be required to work irregular and extended hours. May be required to wear full face respirators or fresh air masks.
  • Knowledgeable of basic computer skills and software.
  • Exhibit exemplary conduct in dealing with other MCCFC employees and any outside contacts. Contribute to a healthy, positive, and safe environment. Promote self as a team player.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
