We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at LCMC Health West Jefferson Medical Center. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment and assisting with patient care.
Responsibilities- Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and CT scanners, to produce high-quality images of patients.
- Assist patients with positioning and preparing for imaging procedures.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any emergencies that may arise.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures and results.
- State License 1 Verification - Required within 30 days of start
- NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) - Required within 30 days of start
This is a travel position, and the schedule will vary depending on the location and needs of the facility. You can expect to work a mix of weekdays and weekends, with some on-call shifts.
