Job Title: Senior Director, Corporate Finance

Akebia Therapeutics is seeking a highly skilled Senior Director, Corporate Finance to lead all finance activities and drive strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Corporate Finance team to drive Operational and Strategic decisions
  • Develop and implement financial forecasting processes to inform the CFO and Executive team
  • Lead the Long-Range Planning Process to drive the company's strategy
  • Provide analytical support to the Business and Commercial teams
  • Assess financing transactions and make recommendations to the CBO and CEO
  • Support Investor Relations and provide recommendations to the CFO and IR team
  • Partner with the CCO and Commercial teams to refine revenue projections
  • Present key financial updates to the Board of Directors
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 12+ years' experience in Finance, with Pharmaceutical/Biotech Industry experience
  • Experience in Corporate Finance, including leading the Budget, Forecast, and Long-Range Plan processes
  • Deep understanding of financial statements and valuation
  • Deep understanding of the drug development and commercialization process
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Background in corporate finance and strategy
  • Experience with NetSuite and Adaptive Planning
Compensation:

Targeted Base: $224,336 - $277,121
