Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Source, process, and follow up on daily biomedical and diagnostic imaging parts and service orders
  • Obtain approvals based on financial procedures
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, pricing, service, and delivery
  • Support field service technicians with medical parts problems or issues
  • Follow up with field service technicians to ensure exchange cores are returned and credits received
  • Coordinate with field service technicians to add new suppliers when the existing supply base is insufficient
  • Reconcile purchase cards with receipts and invoices for all purchases not made on purchase order
  • Examine existing procedures to identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction
  • Perform reporting, clerical, and other duties as directed
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service or procurement
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, technicians, and managers
  • Adaptability to multitask, establish priorities, and execute tasks with indirect supervision
  • Capability to maintain organization in a changing environment
  • Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and decision-making skills
  • Understanding of contract terms and conditions
  • Demonstrate and maintain an extremely high regard for confidential and sensitive information
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of biomedical and/or diagnostic imaging machines
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Nuvolo, and/or Maintenance Connection
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Familiarity with ISO procedures
