Role Description

As a Culinary Preparation Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient service and food preparation in line with our company’s standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrive at work well-groomed, dressed in a clean and appropriate uniform, and maintain high standards of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare food items for restaurant use according to established guidelines; ensure cleanliness and maintenance of food preparation areas, equipment, and storage facilities.
  • Adhere to proper receiving, storage, rotation, and food safety practices.
  • Monitor food temperatures during both hot and cold handling to minimize the risk of foodborne illnesses.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any operational issues to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with the Manager on Duty or Kitchen Manager and fellow team members regarding any product or service deficiencies, equipment issues, or safety concerns.
Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of sanitation, safety, and customer service, acquired through in-house training.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
  • High level of mobility and flexibility is essential.
  • Ability to work irregular hours and handle high-pressure situations during peak times.
  • Strong coordination skills are necessary.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds over distances of up to 30 feet.
  • Must be able to fit through an opening 30 inches wide.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling are required.
  • Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold, and various odors is expected.
  • Continuous standing and walking are part of the role.
