Accounting Specialist

At Kelvin Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Billing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our invoicing processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of customer invoices.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and process all invoicing for the Service department, including Time & Material, Planned Maintenance, Fixed Fee projects, and Parts Invoices.
- Ensure that each invoice meets our internal requirements and has obtained proper approvals.
- Generate and analyze necessary reporting to verify that final invoicing figures reconcile with project documentation.
- Review all invoicing prior to distribution to confirm that all remittance information is accurate and customer instructions are followed.
- Interact with customers to resolve any billing issues.
- Collaborate with the Accountant to assist with timely collection of all open receivable balances.
- Work with the Service team to ensure timely invoicing and that all monthly cutoffs are met.
- 5+ years' experience in a Billing Specialist (or similar) role.
- Strong understanding of billing and collections processes in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent attention to details.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong people skills and willingness to collaborate.
- Experience working in a high-demand, fast-paced industry.
- High-level problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to act with discretion, tact, and professionalism in all situations.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities.
