We are seeking a highly qualified Division Chief to lead our Child Abuse Pediatrics division at the University of California, San Diego. As a key member of our Department of Pediatrics, you will oversee the clinical, research, and educational activities of the division, lead recruiting efforts, and ensure career mentoring for all faculty and fellows.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the clinical, research, and educational activities of the division
- Recruit and mentor faculty and fellows
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the division
- Collaborate with other division chiefs and vice chairs in the department
- MD or equivalent degree
- California medical license or equivalent certification/permit
- Board certification or board eligibility in Child Abuse Pediatrics
- Minimum of two years of leadership experience in a pediatric division
