- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all products meet our high standards.
- Employee Development: Provide training and development opportunities to production team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Compliance: Ensure that all production activities are in compliance with company policies, federal, state, and local regulations, and ISO standards.
- Education: Associate degree required; BS in an Engineering or Business discipline strongly preferred or commensurate experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably in chemical/paint manufacturing.
- Skills: Proven ability to supervise and lead a diverse group of associates, train and coordinate teams to achieve high levels of productivity, quality, and safety performance.
- Knowledge: Good written and verbal communication skills, good computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office packages, SAP experience preferred, knowledge of industrial safety regulations, BRI, 5S Housekeeping, and Lean Manufacturing.
