Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Resident Care Assistant to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Resident Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and services to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and assist residents with self-administration
  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist residents with transferring, repositioning, and walking
  • Obtain vital signs and report changes in resident health status
  • Follow OSHA and CDC guidelines to minimize infections

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Completion of medication administration training program and competencies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
