Job Summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a long-term care facility. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Provide resident-centered care, including daily living assistance, bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing.
  • Assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as needed.
  • Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
  • Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Minimum age of 16.
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
  • Satisfactorily completes yearly department-specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits.
