About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Travel CNA, you will have the opportunity to work in various locations within a 150-mile radius from your home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and providing psychosocial support.
  • Provide assistance with transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment.
  • Complete tasks related to food preparation and dining, creating a positive dining experience for residents.
  • Assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as appropriate.
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
  • Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum age of 16.
  • Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
