Job OverviewNashville CARES is a renowned organization in Nashville, TN seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to manage the daily functions of the HR department.

Salary: Estimated $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5-8 years of human resource management experience and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field. They will be responsible for hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, as well as enforcing company policies and practices.Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Recruitment: Collaborate with department managers to recruit and hire qualified candidates, including managing background checks and onboarding.
  • HR Administration: Administer HR programs such as compensation, benefits, leave, and employee recognition, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and investigations, while maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, managers, and external partners.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary.
