We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team at BayMark Health Services. As a key member of our treatment team, you will play a vital role in assisting patients through our medically assisted programs and providing techniques for handling opioid addiction.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Clinical Services: Offer patient care, education, and opiate addiction counseling services to patients receiving methadone maintenance and detoxification treatment.
- Conduct Counseling Sessions: Lead individual and group counseling sessions to support patients in their recovery journey.
- Coordinate Patient Care: Coordinate the care of assigned patients and present patient status and concerns with the treatment team.
- Develop Treatment Plans: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop and implement patient treatment plans according to State regulatory requirements.
- Certifications: Must have current CAC-AD, CPC-AD, LCPC, and LADAC certifications as a Counselor at The Professional Board of Counselors & Therapist State of Maryland.
- Background Check: Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
