Lead Dispensing Nurse

MedMark Treatment Centers, a leading provider of substance abuse treatment, is seeking an experienced Lead Dispensing Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Nursing Supervisor to develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and oversight to nursing staff, including certified nursing assistants and medication technicians.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and CARF standards.
- Develop and manage schedules, conduct performance improvement activities, and prepare monthly reports.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
- Licensed in Maryland as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with 3-5 years of experience.
- Prior experience in substance abuse, mental health treatment, or addiction medicine is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse community.
- Computer proficiency with EMR and Microsoft Suite.
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
