Our Team is Looking For

A seasoned Principal Software Engineer to own the full software development lifecycle and deliver critical web applications that directly impact hundreds of thousands to millions of users. This individual will help grow and coach engineers to realize their full potential while being mentored and coached themselves for upward career acceleration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, design, develop, and test web applications, working with fellow software engineers and product managers to navigate discussions and strategy in architecting web applications.
  • Own end-to-end architectural assessments and delivery of applications for our clients.
  • Define, architect, and break out epics/features for others, maintaining a sense of the whole picture.
  • Work in a cross-functional agile team to deliver working software incrementally.
  • Help with the growth of the web practice by collaborating on the interviewing pipeline, hosting tech talks and workshops, identifying industry trends, and participating in practice activities.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of application development and platform modernization experience, including web applications development using JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, HTML, CSS, SASS, REST, Java, Git, CI/CD practices, and testing.
  • 10+ years of consulting experience working with enterprise clients in their digital transformation journeys.
  • Nice to have: 2+ years of experience managing a consulting practice.
  • 8+ years of experience leading teams.
  • Experience with building reusable component libraries for large enterprises.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy applications to modern web applications.
  • Solid understanding of browser performance, GraphQL, server-side rendering.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (docker, kubernetes).
  • Experience in defining business needs, guiding customers with their journey to the outcome of solution strategy aligned to their business outcomes and InRhythm products.
  • Leading in discovery exercises virtually or at customer sites, leading solution architecture discussions.
  • Expert in creating detailed solution descriptions and architecture diagrams for presentations, proposals, and implementation plans.
  • Presentation and white-boarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and technical teams.
  • Provide thought leadership in terms of better/futuristic architecture, master data management, machine learning, etc.
  • Experience in providing strategic thinking, solutions, and roadmaps while driving architectural recommendations.
  • Adopt and communicate new concepts, ideas, techniques, best practices, and technology assistance.
  • Computer Science or Engineering degree.

  • Take initiative to explore, evangelize, and represent InRhythm at events, conferences, and speaking engagements that help increase our brand recognition and improve our solution architects' knowledge and aid our customers.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and practice area heads in defining long-term organizational strategies, processes, and roadmaps.

The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
